The Crows with an actual crow
- The dregs find an injured baby crow. They name it Waffle because “it’s literally the sweetest and most perfect thing I’ve ever seen” ( - Nina).
- Kaz pretends he finds it gross and annoying but lets it nap in his lap because he’s already Wylan’s dad, what difference does one more child make?
- Inej is the one that actually finds out how to care for baby birds. She single handedly provides for Waffle like the responsible mature person she is.
- Jesper panics because SHIT A SMALL LIVING THING HOW DO I CARE FOR IT WHAT IF I MESS UP?
- Wylan is super invested and loves Waffle with all his heart. In return, Waffle loves him. Kaz is proud that his kids are getting along well.
- Nina feeds it small chunks of pastries during meals and sneaks food from the kitchen. She’s also very responsible for making Waffle look as pretty as possible for a small crow.
- Matthias violently protects Waffle. With his life.
